I'm a travel agent. But my focus is on you-- not on vacation packages. I'm interested in seeing you get the most life out of the limited number of years we have a pulse. I get to know my clients so that I can guide them to refine their vision of a vacation, and then execute on that vision. My clients just need to show up and have the time of their lives.
Have you ever stressed yourself out doing research for a vacation? Isn't that supposed to be an exciting time? Shouldn't you be hopeful instead of anxious, doubtful that you made the best choices, guilty for spending the money, fearful of missing out on an experience?
Do you have bad luck? If you're like me, stuff frequently goes wrong on vacation and you have to fix or adapt on the fly. It can feel like it's you against the corporations of the world just to get the trip that you booked. Wouldn't it be great to have someone on your side?
Worse yet, have you ever come home from a vacation more drained than before you left? Maybe it wasn't long enough. Maybe you did too many things. Maybe you did what other people wanted you to do. Regardless, you regret taking a vacation but you're ashamed to say it because you'll come across as spoiled. I've felt all of those things; it sucks. Don't let it happen to you.
From research and digital proposals, to online chat and video conferencing, to itinerary-building and payment processing; we're dealing with 21st century tools and we're leveraging them to make life easier.
"High tech without high touch doesn't work." -- Stephen R Covey
The more that technology advances, the more important the human aspect becomes. We'll need to know and trust each other to make something beautiful.
Wasting time in order to save money is a fool's game. Unless doing research and booking your own travel makes you feel like you're really living, you're wasting your life. Delegate that to an expert who knows you.
I'm an independent agent with Fora. I've done training with Travel Leaders Network.
Get to know each other. I need to know how you like to vacation. You need to know if you can trust me.
That way I can design a vacation with lots of negative space. It's that space where connection and amazement happen.
I do research and the present three options. If none of them suit you, I can make changes until something speaks to you.
Initial deposit comes next. Now you get to brag about the trip you're going to take.
Then final payment about one month before travel date. In the meantime we book dining, tours, and downtime.
While you travel, I'll make sure you know who can help you the fastest if anything goes wrong at your destination.
At Lasting Legacy Travel, I know that you want to have joyful anticipation while waiting for your trip to start. You want to vacation without the wrong kind of friction. Discovery-- not chaos. You want to come home rejuvenated and excited to get back to real life.
The problem is that there's too much information on the Internet and it's overwhelming to make decisions. Travel websites try to make things simpler for you, but all these can do is present combinations of products to sell you. Nothing speaks to you because no one took the time to understand you. This makes you feel like it's impossible to enjoy yourself.
I believe that the whole process of vacationing should bring joy. I understand the sources of frustration, friction, and pain. Which is why I trained with the Travel Leaders Network. Here's how I do it:
First I'll send over some terms and conditions. For us to work together, we'll need to set expectations for each other. Once we can agree, then the fun begins. Next we'll get familiar. You'll need to know me enough to trust me. I'll need to know you well enough to find the right solutions for you. Then I'll do my research and have three proposals for you in the next few days. So all you'll have to do is decide which one suits you best. If needed, I can make further changes to make the perfect vacation for you.
After you've decided, you'll make a deposit. Then you'll get to brag to all your friends about the vacation you're going on. Meanwhile, I'll be watching for discounts and promotions that I can apply to your trip. With some vigilance and luck, you'll end up paying less than what I initially quoted you.
So you can stop worrying, and charting, and graphing, and venn diagramming, and instead just tell your guide what you want, show up, and take that trip that allows you to come back to yourself.
